Privacy Policy

The Copper Canopy Club (“Copper Canopy,” “we,” “us”) operates this website at thecoppercanopy.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English; nothing here is a substitute for the terms of the third-party services we link to, which have their own privacy practices.

What we collect

Information you give us

Two parts of this site let you share information with us directly:

• Reservation form. When you fill out the form on our reservation page, we receive your first name, email address, and phone number. We use these to follow up with you and to send the emails you’ve asked for.
• Booking a call. If you book a call with us, you do so on a scheduling page hosted by Calendly, which collects the details you enter there, such as your name, email address, and meeting time.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects a small amount of technical information automatically:

• Server logs. Our web server records each request — IP address, browser, referring page, and the URL requested — for the purpose of operating and securing the site.
• Analytics. If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people view and which calls-to-action they click. Analytics stays off until you accept the cookie banner on your first visit. Google may store this data in the United States.
• Advertising measurement. If you consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform, such as which pages an ad visitor viewed and whether they submitted the reservation form. Meta receives your browser and device identifiers along with these page events. If you submit our reservation form while the pixel is on, Meta may also receive hashed versions of the email address, phone number, and name you enter. Hashing scrambles these details so they can’t be read directly. Meta uses them to match your visit to a Meta account, to measure how our ads perform, and to show our ads to people with similar interests. The pixel stays off unless you accept the cookie banner. You can also manage the ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry or process your membership reservation.
• To send you updates about the club’s opening, if you’ve asked us to.
• To understand how the site is performing and improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
• To protect the site against fraud, abuse, and technical failure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to build a profile beyond what is described above. If you accept the cookie banner, the Meta Pixel shares page-visit and form-submission events with Meta, which may use them to measure ads and to show our ads to people with similar interests.

Cookies

This site uses four categories of cookies and similar storage:

• Strictly necessary. A small amount of local storage records your cookie-banner choice so we don’t ask again on every visit.
• Analytics (opt-in). Google Analytics 4 cookies, set only after you accept the banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
• Advertising (opt-in). Meta Pixel cookies, set only after you accept the banner. Meta’s cookies are governed by Meta’s privacy policy.
• Third-party. Calendly may set its own cookies when you open the booking page. Those cookies are governed by Calendly’s privacy policy.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers we use to run the club’s pre-launch:

• Zapier — passes your reservation form details to our email tool. Zapier privacy policy.
• MailerLite — sends the emails you’ve asked for. MailerLite privacy policy.
• Calendly — call booking. Calendly privacy policy.
• Google — analytics (only with your consent). Google privacy policy.
• Meta — advertising measurement and ad matching (only with your consent). Meta privacy policy.
• Cloudflare and Hostinger — content delivery and hosting.

We may also share information if required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to defend the rights and safety of Copper Canopy and its members.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it: form submissions while we’re actively following up, transaction records as long as our accountants and tax laws require (typically seven years), and analytics data per Google’s default retention. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact email below.

Your choices and rights

You can:

• Decline analytics and advertising cookies in the banner (or change your choice later by clearing site data).
• Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• Unsubscribe from any email we send you using the link in the email.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of any “sale” — we do not sell personal information. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you similar rights plus the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

The Copper Canopy Club is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please email us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We’ll post any updates here and revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site for a reasonable period before they take effect.
